Paul McCartney has debuted his new song 'Dance Tonight' on YouTube. The video is the first sample of his forthcoming album 'Memory Almost Full'.
The video stars Pirates of the Caribbean star McKenzie Crook stars as a pushy postie who delivers a parcel to McCartney's house in the country and invites himself in for a cup of tea. Natalie Portman from Stars Wars fame lends a ghostly presence."There you go, this is the place. I bet he's got peacocks. They've always got peacocks these sorts of people," says Postman Mc as he winds his way up the road to Macca's house. "It's all very well having a place in the country but some muggings has got to deliver the post, didn't they? I better get a cup of tea out of this, that's all I can say".
He marches into Macca's house, talks his way into the tea-break and delivers the parcel, a nice, new mandolin. Postman Mc is then treated to a rendition of the McCartney song on a newly delivered mandolin by the Big Mac himself.
But then the house comes alive with ghosts and the postman fleas.
The video was directed by Michael Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind).
