Kylie Minogue is set to revive her small-screen career by playing the role of an evil cyberwoman in the forthcoming series of 'Dr Who', according to reports.
Britain's 'News Of The World' tabloid said that filming would start in July for the revived series, produced by the BBC, with a BBC insider claiming, "Kylie jumped at the chance to be in the show and is really looking forward to acting again."The pop singer's most recent dalliance with television came with a guest appearance on the popular Australian sitcom 'Kath and Kim', a slightly cruel satire on Australian suburbia.
For those not familiar with the cybermen and cyberwomen of 'Dr Who', an unnecessarily detailed description outlining their physical characteristics, technology and history - including the important Cyber-Wars and Cardiff Torchwood Incident - is available at the relevant Wikipedia entry.
