Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman has launched his own metal detector.
We're not talking about your very own airport-style security where you can check for a threat that isn't there, we're talking about your run of the mill nerdy kid on the beach metal detector on a stick.The detector was designed after Wyman had trouble finding a suitable device for his daughter, who was beginning to show an interest in the hobby. He contacted C.Scope directly to design one that was lightweight and easy to understand.

Wyman claims to have found coins dating back to Roman British times and says he has loved this hobby with more than a passing fashion since he was a kid.
