R.E.M. tickets are hot in Ireland ... and we mean that literally.
Irish police are investigating the theft of 122 tickets for the band's forthcoming Olympia Theatre show for Saturday June 30th, 2007.The tickets disappeared while in transit between the UK and Ireland on March 30th, 2007.
R.E.M. management has issued a warning to fans not to purchase tickets from scalpers or unofficial sources.
The tickets with the sequence numbers 0379 to 0500 have been cancelled and cannot be used at the show.
