Byron Bay's metalcore juggernaut Parkway Drive announce the follow-up to 2005's 'Killing With A Smile'.
The relentlessly heavy and relentlessly road-tested Australian five piece have announced in a press release that they will record a new album in May. They will once again team up with 'Killing With A Smile' producer and Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (As I Lay Dying, From Autumn To Ashes, Norma Jean, Unearth) at Boston's Zing Studios.Frontman Winston McCall said in the presser, "Fans can expect a heavier, faster and more precise album than 'Killing With A Smile'. The new songs mark two years of intense touring, refinement and experience. The songs we are writing are the next step for us. We're simply putting them out there for people to make of them what they will, but rest assured as far as we are concerned this is the album we have always wanted to write."
The band are touring the US through April and May with Comeback Kid, It Dies Today, This Is Hell and Endwell, then hit Japan in early June, Europe through the rest of the month, and hop on US Vans Warped through July and August.
