Lysergic bliss, surreal images flood your imagination, while a hazy fuzzy voice sings a distorted melody you cannot quite grasp. Still, you chose to lie back, chill, and basically do not give a rat’s ass about anything else. If you add the ocean and a sunny afternoon to this image, then you are set.

For those who will be around Melbourne and Sydney this September, you’ll have the chance to recreate this scene while attending to a Brooklyn indie darlings Beach Fossils concert.
After a frustrated intent in October 2012, which had to be postponed, not without frontman Dustin Payseur promising they would make it up to their fans,
Beach Fossils have stayed true to their word, and are coming (God willing) to Australia. Local followers will get to enjoy music in their detached, introspective manner Friday 20th of September at The Standard, Sydney and Saturday 21st at the Corner Hotel, Melbourne.
Created in 2009 as Payseur’s solo project, the one man shoegazing project quickly evolved into a full band. In 2010 they released their self-titled debut album on esteemed Brooklyn indie imprint Captured Tracks. Earlier this year, following a bevy of singles and EPs, they gave way to sophomore long-player Clash The Truth – again on Captured Tracks. Currently touring all over Europe, Beach Fossils will arrive to Australian shores with well rehearsed fresh and cutting edge material that has already created a buzz all over the world.
