Catch a kaleidoscope of psychedelic lo-fi rhythms when Beach Fossils tour Autralia for the first time this October.
Formed in Brookyn N.Y in 2009 by Dustin Payseur they are often described as a "shoegazing" band, however there is more to the music than that.
Payseur takes influence from music, poetry, art and philosophers (Don Cherry, Ravi Shankar, Rumi, Lao-Tzu and Jean Cocteau), having an equal and pivotal impact on his work. The self titled first album has become know for it's jangly, single note guitar style, dusted with summer-fueled romance.
Beach Fossils will bring summertime to Australia a couple of months early on the following dates;
Brisbane - Black Bear Lodge Thursday, October 11
Sydney - Good God Small Club Friday, October 12 Tickets available from Moshtix.com.au
Melbourne - Workers Club Saturday, October 13 Tickets available from Cornerhotel.com
Perth - This Is Nowhere Festival Sunday, October 14 Tickets available from Oztix.com.au
