Graham Parker is one of rock's most prolific recording artists. In 2007, you'll be greeted to 'Don't Tell Columbus', his 20 somethingish studio album since 'Howlin' Wind' debuted in 1976.
With the new album, Parker was in media mode at SxSW for the launch of the new album. There were the scheduled showcases but the most fun was in the Austin Mexican restaurant Jovitas when Parker joined The Figgs for three songs. The new album 'Don't Tell Columbus' features Parker's ode to moving to America titled 'I Discovered America'. Parker has been a New Jersey resident now for many years.
At Jovitas, Graham also played 'Soul Shoes' from his 1976 'Howlin' Wind' album and 'Local Girls' from his American classic 'Squeezing Out Sparks.
