Lee’Mon’s latest offering ‘Genetics’ is a shimmering pop tune with rhythms that throb and driving choruses.
Solid drums, bass grooves plonk around tinny guitars while there’s hand clapping, chanting backing-vocals the track is a layered fun-filled blast.
Stepping behind the camera to direct the film, Lee'Mon with bit players who don’t mind wasting paint, a Mariachi playing his guitar and an orange-flare ending. It’s just as much fun as the song so it’s a perfect match. Undercover.fm wonders why more artists don’t try and do what Lee’ Mon created and make a unique video in a homemade-style. Something tells us teen-loved, Canadian singing and dancing pop stars won’t be following suit soon - but you never know.
