Melbourne’s The Delta Riggs have announced a national album release tour throughout April, with support from Stillwater Giants. This coincides with a brand-new video clip for the album’s first single ‘Rah Rah Radio’. Couple this with the imminent release of their début album HEX.LOVER.KILLER. The Delta Riggs are a band incessantly beeping on undercover.fm’s radar.
The Delta Riggs’ fiery live sets with an all-or-nothing attitude, performing recently at Big Day Out, Pyramid Rock, Festival Of The Sun and Peats Ridge Festival has made many sit up and take notice. They’ve made a solid name for themselves by opening for the likes of Primal Scream, Devin and most recently, Divine Fits at their Laneway Festival sideshow performances in Sydney and Melbourne. The upcoming tour will see The Delta Riggs in all their rawking glory as one of the country’s most enticing live acts showing off their brand spanking new album for the first time.
The self-produced debut album constructs a distinctive mishmash of their dark psychedelica, aggressive punk and stylised blues influences. The album’s first single ‘Rah Rah Radio’ has already ignited the airwaves with an accompanying video clip released today. The video isn’t predictable; it’s an introduction to a band whose bold sense of humour will have you roflmao-ing.
HEX.LOVER.KILLER. will be released on Friday 12 April through The Delta Riggs’ Rah Rah Radio label and distributed through respected Indie distributors INERTIA.
