Ahead of the release of their debut album on April 5 2013, The Delta Riggs are releasing a brand new single "Rah Rah Radio" to help the festivities along this Friday, February 1st. Which happens to be less than a week before they hit the road with Divine Fits.
Uncompromising in their DIY ethos, The Delta Riggs have self-produced their forthcoming debut record to create an atmosphere spanning dark psychedelia, punk hostility and innovative blues.
"Rah Rah Radio" is the first taste of what you can expect and punches out of your speakers, with a delicious hooky rock and roll assault.
Last year saw the band give their undivided attention to the punters of Australia’s as they traversed the nations highways to deliver their brash, explosive and uncompromising live show.
They've recently kept their eye on the prize of rock and roll conversions for all (yeah I'm talkin' to you Swedish House Mafia Fans) with appearances at Big Day Out, Pyramid Rock, Festival Of The Sun and Peats Ridge Festival.
Handpicked to tour with the one and only Primal Scream, plus the likes of The Jim Jones Revue, New York upstart Devin and Victorian sister act Stonefield, The Delta Riggs are set to kick off 2013 by opening for The Divine Fits at their Laneway Festival sideshow performances in Sydney and Melbourne.
Rah Rah Radio will be released this Friday, February 1st via The Delta Riggs "Rah Rah Radio" label (distributed by Inertia).
