One of last year’s New Artist to Radio (NA2R) winners, Danielle Blakey, has won Gold in the inaugural ABU Radio Song Festival. Danielle was entered by Commercial Radio Australia and beat 14 other unsigned acts from around the Asia Pacific region to win the inaugural event.
Chief executive officer of Commercial Radio Australia, Joan Warner said "The ABU Radio Song Festival is in its first year of operation and aims to promote unsigned original music across Asia and the Pacific. Danielle performed in Seoul, Korea in conjunction with the ABU General Assembly. It was a glittering occasion and is sure to open doors to a broader international audience," .
