Bob Mould will be heading down under to perform the 1992 NME album of the year " Copper Blue" in March 2013.
It was the debut album from the band "Sugar" which Mould founded after his exit from Husker Du. Mould has been in Europe where he commenced performing the album in it's entirety in August 2012. MOJO called the album "The glorious second act of Bob Mould’s career" and it takes the punk elements of Husker Du in blends them with addictive melodies.
Bob describes the album thus "It’s one of those records that sounds like it’s 20 years old; it sounds like it’s 50 years old; it sounds like it was made last week.” That description pretty much sums up the genius for writing music with longevity possessed by Bob Mould.
Bob Mould will play Copper Blue in it's entirety and also perform tracks from his new album "Silver Age".
