Hmmm.. when you think about other bands that commenced rocking around 1979, Husker Du come to mind as one of the ones you'd still like to see around, (unlike others who will remain nameless).
Ex- Husker Du guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould dropped into the Letterman studios on September 4th to promote the release of his latest solo offering " Silver Age" and perform the albums first single "The Descent". It's the first album of new material since 2009 and Mould told Rolling Stone that the album is, "38 minutes of Rock"...he wasn't lying.
Silver Age was released on September 4th, checkout Bob Mould doing what he does best with band members; drummer Jon Wurster (Superchunk) and bassist Jason Narducy (Spl:t S:ngle, Verbow), performing the album's first single "The Descent" on Letterman. If this is what can be produced in his Silver Age I can't wait to hear what happens in The Golden Age of Bob Mould. Tops.
