The fifteenth studio album to be added to the ZZ Top collection will be released on September 10 and has been produced by and Rick Rubin and ZZ Tops very own Billy Gibbons.
Its been a long haul to get to the 15th album, the last studio recording " 'Mescalero' came out 9 years ago in 2003. Gibbons says of the new album " We thought long and hard about what this album should be. We wanted to recall the directness of our early stuff but not turn our backs on contemporary technology. The result of this melding of the past and the present is, of course, 'La Futura'."
