The 93 year old folk legend Pete Seeger is showing no signs of slowing down with the release of two albums set for September this year.
The first album will feature fourteen brand new songs written by Seeger and collaborator Lorre Wyatt. Titled "A More Perfect Union" the album contains what will be deliciuos duets with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle, Tom Morello, Dar Williams and Emmylou Harris.
The second recording will take form in a double CD tribute to the late, great Woody Guthrie and will be titled "Pete Remembers Woody". It will also be a fitting celebration of the centenary of Guthries birth which has been celebrated this year and features reflections, anecdotes and songs across both CD's.
"A More Perfect Union" is Seeger's commentary on current economic, political, and environmental issues.
