Former former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash received his own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday evening. As per usual there was the same old controversial commentary that is expoused anytime one of the ex- Gunnners is in the limelight.
This time the comments came from Charlie Sheen who was on hand to say a few words at the event that installed Slash as famous forever on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Reporter quoted Sheen as saying " It's quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on,” and adding later "This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the Eighties."
Slash kept his words peachy, "I've been a part of the Hollywood fabric for a long time and to actually be appreciated by the city of Hollywood is a huge, huge honour. And so I want to thank everybody for this; it's unbelievable."
Along for the ride were Myles Kennedy and Steve Adler, who performed with Slash to a crowd of fans gathered for the occasion.
