Albert Hammond Sr, the father of Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr has put and end to fans dismay that a new album from the Strokes was not on the horizon, as confirmed by management recently.
NME.com have reported that the senior Albert Hammond has confirmed that The Strokes were working on a follow up to their last release " Angels" with the following statement in response to being asked if the band were recording "Albert ( his son) says that the stuff they're doing is incredible. They're doing it themselves with their friend, engineer and producer. He just says 'Dad, it's incredible'."
