Indie rock darlings TV On The Radio announce their fourth album.
Their last, Dear Science, was released in 2008 and since then the members have been tinkering with side projects.
Guitarist Dave Sitek has been most active: producing, releasing a solo collaborative album under the name of Maximum Balloon and is filling on bass for Jane’s Addiction.
Vocalist Tunde Adebimpe worked with Ryan Sawyer from Tall Firs under the name Stabbing Eastward, and performed as Fake Male Voice.
But TV On The Radio are back, with the new album to be titled Nine Types Of Light and is slated for a release in the Northern Hemisphere’s Spring.
They will also play Radio City Music Hall on April 13, which is supposedly before the release of the album.
