Yngwie Malmsteen to Tour Australia

Swedish guitar god Yngwie (pronounced Ing-vay) Malmsteen will return to Australia in September for the first time since 1999.

Malmsteen is said to be the most technically proficient shredder ever to walk the Earth. From his 1986 debut at the tender age of just 20 years old he has built up a solid following of dedicated guitar nerds.

Last year he released a DVD filmed in Japan with a full orchestra backing him up which surprisingly doesn't suck.
