Elvis fans, line up, save up, and roll up to the Elvis auction of century. His orginal crypt and the home of his remains for 2 months in 1977 is up for auction.
Talks about creepy. TMZ have reported that the crypt in which Elvis was orginally laid to rest, situated in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee will go under the hammer. Celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien will preside over the bidding. If you are the winning bidder you can expect the following; opening and closing of the vault for burial, a memorial inscription and use of the chapel. That's right folks you can be buried in Elvis's crypt. Elvis won't be there with you, his remains were removed two months after the funeral and relocated to Gracelands, where they now lie next to his beloved mother Gladys.
Bidding will commence on the 23rd of June starting at $100,000, with the auction being one of many auctions that will take place as part of the giant Music Icons auction in which over 600 items from the biggest stars in the music industry, including Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra will be auctioned off.
