Last Thursday around 40,000 Norwegians gathered in cities around Norway to sing the Norwegian version of the Pete Seeger song "My Rainbow Race."
The show of defiance, solidarity and peace was a direct response to statements made by Anders Behring Breivik, currently on trial for murdering seventy seven Norwegians last year in the name of multiculturalism. He has described the song as an example of how "cultural Marxists" have penetrated Norwegian schools and weakened its society. Happily, the Oslo singers could be heard from the prison in which Breivik is being held.
