Hi Ho Silver! Jack White has the job to write, produce and perform the score for an upcoming film Disney adaptation of The Lone Ranger.
This will be the first full length film score Jack White has ever written. The film is due out in May, so either this has been cooking for a while or producer Jerry Bruckheimer has a hell of a lot of faith in Whites prolific songwriting ability. In other exciting news, the film stars Johnny Depp, who was thrilled when director Gore Verbinski came up with the idea to use the talents of Jack White to write and perform the music for the film.
