After falling in to a coma last week Robin Gibb has awoken, but is still in intensive care greatly weakened, exhausted and malnourished.
Doctors were not confident in the health of the Bee Gee last week as they feared he wouldn't have long to live. However, Gibb has woken from the coma and is now able to communicate by speaking. His family have been by his beside for the duration of the coma singing songs and playing music to Gibb.
Robin Gibb remains in intensive care and doctors have made a statement confirming exactly what is wrong with the singer. He is still in a weakened and malnourished state after falling victim to pneumonia after chemotherapy and two operations for advanced colorectal cancer.
