Former Bee Gee Robin Gibb has been sent to hospital on Sunday morning after suffering serious stomach pains.
A spokesperson for the singer said: “In the early morning he had terrible pain and he was feeling very ill. A paramedic came out and he was taken to hospital. We are not sure what’s wrong with him at this stage and are worried. We don’t know if it is a recurrence of the previous problem or something else entirely. He is back at home being looked after by his wife.”
Gibb had part of his intestine removed last year. At this stage it is unclear whether the two events are related. His twin brother and fellow Bee Gee, Maurice Gibb died in 2003 at age 53 after suffering from a twisted intestine.
