In the lead up to Festival Sunday, St Kilda Festival provides daily opportunities to enjoy, learn and participate in the music and culture of our bayside beauty St Kilda.
There is a bunch of goodtimes going on this week starting with this evening;
- Dan Webb and Kylie Auldist, accompanied by a spectacular sunset, play a special intimate show at Republica, St Kilda Seabaths, 18 Jacka Blvd, from 7:00pm on Wednesday, 8 February.
- Covering the important topics every musician needs to know, the Music Managers Forum guides up and comers with industry insider tips covering a different topic each night. Today’s (Wedenesday 8th of Feb) session will focus on Metal music from 8:00pm at Alliance Francaise, 51 Grey St St Kilda.
- A night of passionate rock n roll at The Espy, with Pretty Dulcie, Pony Girl & the Outsiders and The Mercy Kills – The Esplanade from 9pm on Thursday 9 February.
- Influenced by bands like Clutch, Kyuss and Corrosion of Conformity, Melbourne four-piece band Moth will play at Felix Bar – 11 Fitzroy St from 9:00pm on Thursday, 9 February.
- Mildsparrow and the Migrations – Often found around the bars and pubs of Melbourne, these six friends will play their trademark melodic alt-folk, transporting the audience into a lyrical landscape. The Prince Public Bar, 29 Fitzroy Street from 9:00pm on Friday, 10 February
