Small Faces were one of the greatest bands to come out of mid 60'd Britain and have been credited with influencing the Britpop movement of the 90's.
Despite being together for just four years in their original incarnation (65-69) the Small Faces' produced an astounding breadth of quality music for a band that was together for such a short time. Their catalogue of work remains to this day some of the most acclaimed British mod and psychedelic music ever released.
Universal Music will reissue deluxe versions of The Small Faces (1966), From the Beginning (1966), Small Faces (1967) and concept album Odgen’s Nut Gone Flake (1968).
The remastered albums will present to your ears mono and stereo versions, singles and alternate mixes of favourite tracks. Although the reissues will surely become must haves for Small Faces nuts, I can't help but think " If it ain't broke...."
Ah, Small Faces, Tin Soldier, doesn't get any better than this.
