Jim Keays of Masters Apprentices fame has recorded a Dirty Dirty album. Excellent....
At the age of 65 Keays has recorded a 'garage' record", a raw, intense rock and roll album. Or so the media release states. If it's anything like the early recordings of The Masters Apprentices (so named because they thought of themselves as apprentices to the masters of the blues- Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed and Elmore James) it should be awesome.
Whiskey Woman is the first single from the album DIRTY, DIRTY and is due for release on February 10, 2012. Jim Keays is backed by Davey Lane (You Am I) (guitar / b-vocals), Ted Lethborg (Producer, bass / b-vocals) and Brett Wolfenden (drums / b-vocals).
Oh happy days, its good. Check it.
