After yesterdays news of the axing of the Big Day Out in N.Z post 2012, the orgnaisers of Christian Music Festival " Parachute" have reduced ticket prices from $460 for a family ticket to $1.00.
Goodness me, it looks like the Big Day Out may not be the only festival axed in N.Z this year. Chief executive and founder of Parachute Music Mark de Jong exaplained that the poor ticket sales were due to the economy, the Christchurch earthquake and the saturated summer music festival market.
N.Z fans of the Christian Music Festival need not worry as de Jong also indictated that it would not be the last year of the festival. Hallelujah. The Parachute Festival turns 21 this year.
