Toting a "day of the dead" theme, Future Music festival have announced their 2013 lineup. It's a doozy and a little bit crazy town. A bit like a 90's version of ABC's Rage juxtaposed with a second decade of the naughties youtube sesh, an AFL grandfinal gig and a secret dubstep night nobody knew about until after it happened all milling around in a cocktail blender from Ibiza.
Half of the headlining acts, The Prodigy will grace the Warriors Dance Arena – an entire arena dedicated to hard-edged, and heavy bass driven music plus some of the world's most cutting-edge dub-step acts including Boys Noize, Feed Me Live (Live Teeth Show), Kill The Noise, Zeds Dead , Borgore and DJ Zane Lowe.
The other headliners The Stone Roses are bringing their Manchester-borne reunion tour down under and will play with fellow Brits Bloc Party. Bringing a little piece of Gangman Style all the way from South Korea will be K-Pop star PSY.....add Aussies The Temper Trap, Gypsy & The Cat, The Stafford Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, Tenzin, Bombs Away , Nervo and chart-topping New York pop-rockers Fun and you got yourself one muticultural mixed bag of music.
Dizziee Rascal is back on the bill with fellow countrymen DJ Fresh and Rudimental and there is a hell of a lot more going on as per below .....
