Aaron Freeman formally of duo WEEN is set to release his debut solo album " Marvelous Clouds". And that's not all of it. Does anyone remember Rod McKuen from their parents 70's record collection...? "Some Trust In Chariots" ring any bells?
The album features 13 songs written by 20th Century poet and songwiter Rod McKuen and performed by Aaaron Freeman. Unfortunately I do not see " Some Trust in Chariots" on the track listing.
No stanger to idosyncratic creative compulsive disorder I wonder what prompted Aaron Freeman to record 13 songs by Rod McKuen? Everyone else is in media land is concentrating on lording Rod McKuen's contibution to the 20th century and nobody is saying too much about the Who? What? Where? When and Why? " "Marvelous Clouds" will be released on April 10 2012. Check out the Youtube trailer for the album. No prizes for guessing which song was chosen to feature....Sounds good. I'm looking forward to this record.
