Not only does Laura Imbruglia have a brilliant voice and songwriting ability, she is also hilarious. Every now and then I receive her "Informative Newsletter" and it is a joy and pleasure that does not require me to want to stick pins in my eyes.......

- She comes from the Central Coast of NSW. (a fertile landscape for developing wit against the odds)
- She moved to the worlds capital of live music "Melbourne" in late 2010. (She obviously knows a good town when she see's one)
- Her second album " The Lighter Side..." features MAD magazine-esque graphics complete with MAD style booklet. Bless this gal.
- She was handpicked by Sebadoh to open their SOLD OUT Melbourne show in 2011.
- She will be performing at "Empress on The Edge of Town" A Tribute to The Music of Bruce Springsteen on 28th of January 2012 at The Empress Hotel ( Nicholson St North Carlton)
- In her preparation for the Springsteen tribute gig it "dawned " on her more than ever that Bruce Springsteen is the master of the universe. ( She didn't actually use those words, but I know it's what she meant)
