The Sex Pistols have declined an offer to play "A Symphony of British Music" to be held in the Olympic Stadium on August 12.
The event is being put together by Kim Gavin, who has worked with Take That and is apparently a trained ballet dancer and choreographer. Gavin would like the event to be a "mash up" of English music, whatever that means? I don't know.... The Sex Pistols playing Rolling In The Deep? Who could say?
All the Sex Pistols had to say was "No Thanks" and they did. Hoorah!
