This afternoon Meldrums brother Brian has advised reporters that Molly will stay in an induced coma until the head injuries sustained in a fall yesterday are stablised.
Brian went on to tell reporters that the other injuries suffered by Meldrum, a broken shoulder, fractured clavicle, fractured ribs, pierced lung and fractured vertebrae, would not be tended to until the head injuries are in check. Molly will remain in a coma until early next week. The next 48 hours will remain a crucial period in his fight for life.
