Heavens above, that's the best news I've heard this week! What a terrible shame "Mick Hucknall " was such a wonderful replacement....NOT!
The announcement this week that The Faces are to be inducted into the 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has prompted commentary from former "The Faces" singer Rod Stewart.
Apparently the reunion will be subject to Ronnie Woods plans with the Rolling Stones in 2012.
"It's something that I would want to do, but it's getting a commitment from Ronnie [Wood] who is hanging onto what the Stones are going to do. He'll suddenly say, 'Hey, let's tour next week!' I'll say, 'Hold on Ronnie, I've got commitments! I've got commitments for the next year."
Fiingers crossed these guys can put their heads together and come up with a date and time for a reunion to happen. The Faces also included, keyboardist Ian McLagan, drummer Kenney Jones and late bassist Ronnie Lane.
Rod finished his commentary with " It's not totally ruled out" Hoorah!
