Each year the IF Awards support Australian Film and Television but also embrace the local music scene. This year Tim Freedman and Eddie Perfect will perform at the ceremony where the winner of the SAE Institute IF Award for Best Music Video will be announced.
Tim Freedman, well known lead singer and keyboardist with The Whitlams has just released his first album in 6 years with his new band The Idle. Tim Freedman and The Idle, will perform the song, "You Weren’t In Love With Me", from the album Australian Idle at the award ceremony. The Whitlams Eternal Nightcap was voted this year as No.17 best Australian album of all time on JJJ, despite this Freedman claims the new album is the best yet. Something to look forward to for Freedman fans.
Catch Tim Freedman and the Idle with Eddie Perfect, Xavier Samuel, Koko from Red Dog, Ronan Keating, Callan McAuliffe, Sophie Lowe, Richard Roxburgh and David Wenham at The Jameson IF Awards Sydney will be held on the 16th November at Sydney’s Luna Park for a great night showcasing Australian Film, Television and Music.
