Ex-Gunners drummer Steven Adler speaks to Axl Rose about an original G'N'R line-up reunion.
In an interview that appeared on his official myspace page, Steven Adler revealed that he's finally spoken to Axl Rose about a reunion of the original line-up of Guns N' Roses, which was apparently met with giggles from the ginger frontman.Adler said that he and Rose spoke for over eight hours after a Hard Rock show by the "new" Guns N' Roses. He said that after telling Axl, "You know the five of us have to get back together! That's when it will really f***ing take off again! Nothing will be bigger. It would be the biggest reunion ever in history", Rose grinned and giggled.
Adler said he has been speaking to original guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, confirming that Stradlin is interested in a reunion. In 2005 Adler, Stradlin and Slash performed together at LA's Key Club. Adler reportedly spoke to Rose for the first time in ten years in late-2006 when he saw the new Guns N' Roses perform in Las Vegas.
