Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet are going to reform Yazoo.
Yazoo, or Yaz as they were known in the USA, will play five gigs in the UK in June.The band had a short innings with just two albums in 1982 and 1983.
The first album 'Upstairs At Eric's featured the hits 'Only You' and 'Don't Go'. The final album 'You And Me Both' added 'Nobody's Diary' to their hitlist.
Clarke came into Yazoo via Depeche Mode. He wrote the fist Depeche Mode hit 'Just Can't Get Enough'. After Yazoo, he scored a trifecta when his next band Erasure was also a hit.
Alison launched a solo career with Columbia Records after she split from Vince. Her debut solo album 'Alf' was a huge international hit and featured the hit songs 'Love Resurrection', 'Invisible' and 'All Cried Out'.
