Tim Freedman will release his next album under his own name and on Sony.
The Whitlams founder and frontman has made The Whitlams idle and will release his solo record ‘Australian Idle’ via Sony in November.
This will be the first album from Freedman in 5 years.
His band will feature two guys and two girls, Heath Cullen and Amy Vee with bass from Zoe Hauptmann, and on drums Dave Hibbard.
‘Australian Idle’ is described as “an unabashed joyful 70s piano pop album”.
