The Future Music Festival have had to do their first announcement as New York disco-punks The Rapture let it slip.
The Future Music Festival is returning for 2012, but they weren’t quite ready to announce anything. So The Rapture inadvertently did it for them.
Frontman Luke Jenner couldn’t contain his excitement in a recent interview, saying “It hasn’t been announced yet, but I think in March hopefully we’ll be back for Future. I don’t think I’m technically supposed to tell you that so let’s just keep that between you, me and the rest of Australia.”
The Rapture have just released their new album In The Grace Of Your Love after five years laying low on the recording front.
They’re currently on tour in support of it, going through Europe, the UK and the US and will obviously hit our shores in March for Future Music.
Future are keeping tight-lipped about any other acts, but since The Rapture were so excited by signing onto the bill, they couldn’t help but officially announce it.
