Adele has walloped the debut from Red Hot Chili Peppers and slapped Gotye back to number 3 on the Australian chart this week.
Red Hot Chili Peppers ‘I’m With You’ has landed at number 2 in Australia and Gotye ‘Making Mirrors’ has fallen to number 3 after Adele ‘21’ reclaimed the top spot after 32 weeks on the chart.
She also outsold David Guetta ‘Nothing But The Beat’ and the first complete Icehouse compilation ‘White Heat: 30 Heats’, although somehow I don’t think Iva Davies would mind.
The Icehouse album is the real winner this week. Icehouse ‘White Heat: 30 Hits’ captures all 30 Icehouse singles in chronological order for the very first time ever. The two CD set also features a bonus DVD featuring all of the videos including both the Australian and International versions of the clips.
