Perth pop rockers Eskimo Joe and the Kanye West and Jay-Z union head up today's new releases.

Eskimo Joe drop their fifth album Ghosts Of The Past, following up their last two records debuting at number one.

Of course, all the buzz has been around the mammoth Jay-Z and Kanye West album Watch The Throne, which came out physically today.

Creative oz rapper Phrase delivers his Babylon album, with guest spots from Jimmy Barnes, Sparkadia, Guineafowl and Davey Lane of You Am I.

Oscar-winner and country music tragic Jeff Bridges releases his self-titled album, Wilco guitarist Nels Cline has Veil and Charlie Parr has his new album Cheap Wine.

More Aussie modern rock comes from The Getaway Plan, who deliver Other Voices Other Rooms and Adelaide’s Bronze Chariot have Nigredo.

Hip  San Francisco psych rockers Wooden Shjips drop their third album West.

George member Tyrone Noonan goes solo with I Believe, local delta blues legends Backsliders release Starvation Box and Sydney roots artist Jeremy Harrison releases Two By Two.

We also have the second album of traditional Mexican mariachi music from rock bruisers The Bronx as Mariachi El Bronx.

Electro legends Stereo MCs have Emperor’s Nightingale.

Finally, the Arcade Fire CD/DVD deluxe edition of The Suburbs came out today.
