Budding Kiwi indie pop group The Naked And Famous say they’ve outgrown New Zealand.
The band, who released their debut Passive Me, Aggressive You to much acclaim, have also got a foothold in the UK.
They were listed as one of Gigwise’s Ones To Watch In 2011 and have revealed to NME that they’ll be moving there in February.
Members Alisa Xayalith and David Beadle did an interview with NME, saying that when it comes to New Zealand, “Once you’ve played five gigs you’ve pretty much played the whole country.”
They’ve also been picked for NME hottest new artists for 2011 issue out now.
Before they head off to the UK, they’ll play around Australia on the Big Day Out.
Then they play the NME Awards show on February 15 in London and follow it up with ten gigs through the UK, including Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool and Birmingham.
