The Cold Chisel Light The Nitro tour has just clocked up a 4th date for Adelaide on December 6, 2011.
Adelaide is where it all began for Cold Chisel in the mid 70s, “We're always excited to return to Adelaide, the place where it all started for Cold Chisel. We've still got lots of friends and family there, so these will be great homecoming shows. We can't wait!,” Phil Small said in a statement.
Chisel have now sold over 220,000 tickets for the tour with this new date bringing the total number of shows so far to 35.
Meanwhile, Chisel fans will get an early sneak preview of a new Chisel song when Don Walker heads out for his solo shows next week. “I don’t know at the moment which new songs will be on the Chisel album but there is this one song that was designed for Chisel but it suits me. I will be doing that and it looks like it will be on the album in the new year.
The song has the very Walkerish title of “I’m Going To Get Back On The Road”.
Adelaide Chisel dates are November 29 and 30 and December 5 and 6.
