Not only has ‘Footloose’, the hit movie of the 80s been remade, so has the soundtrack.
The new soundtrack features remakes of four old songs including ‘Footloose’ by Blake Shelton, ‘Holding Out For A Hero’ by Ella Mae Bowen, ‘Let’s Hear It For The Boy’ by Jana Kramer and ‘Almost Paradise’ by Victoria Justice & Hunter Hayes.
The original versions of those songs were by Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Tyler, Deniece Williams and Mike Reno and Anne Wilson.
There are right new songs on the album.
The new ‘Footloose’ was directed by Craig Brewer who was only 13 years old when the original movie was made.
The film stars Kenny Wormald as Ren McCormack, Julianne Hough as Ariel Moore, Dennis Quaid as Rev. Shaw Moore and Andie MacDowell as Vi Moore.
