Jack White will release the new song for Sydney singer Lanie Lane in the USA on his Third Man Records label.
Lanie was recently in Nashville at Third Man Records HQ where she recorded two tracks with Jack White.
Lanie’s Third Man Records songs with White will be released on vinyl as part of the label’s Blue Series.
"It was an honour to be asked by Jack to record with him at Third Man,” Lanie said in a statement. “I was so inspired by the whole process and by how by raw and instinctively everything happened. I got so much out of the experience and I'm very proud of the end result."
Lanie will perform at Splendour In the Grass this weekend. Her next single ‘Ain’t Hungry’ will be released in August and her debut album will be out in October.
