Fuse Group has picked up Third Man Record, the label owned by Jack White, for distribution in Australia.
Third Man Records features White’s own The White Stripes, Dead Weather and Raconteurs, as well as releases from Wanda Jackson, Karen Elson, Cold War Kids and Conan O’Brien.
White founded the label in Detroit in 2001 and relocated HQ to Nashville in 2009.
All records release by Third Man Records are produced by Jack White and printed in Nashville.
Third Man Records is also big on vinyl releases with albums by most of its acts released on vinyl as well as CD.
Fuse started out of Melbourne in 2005. It now also has an office in Sydney. Fuse also has a high-end book publishing company named Strangelove Press. It will distribute a new magazine called Strangelove, focusing on music, books and film soon.
