Top Australian DJ/Producer Paul Mac has teamed up with American Express as a mentor for the Room For Thought project.
The American Express Room For Thought project aims to find the next big ideas for music, fashion and community.
Paul Mac, along with actress Miranda Otto and designer Peter Alexander will offer direction, insight and experience to develop the ideas into reality.
From today, entrants can submit ideas via www.facebook.com/americanexpressaustralia
Three ideas, one each for music, fashion and community, will be decided by public vote at the website. The three winners will then gain exclusive personal support from the panel of mentors, receive a number of mentoring sessions tailored for their needs and the mentors will guide the winners to develop the idea.
In September each idea will be brought to life in a physical space in the Sydney CBD for the public to visit and experience.
Corrina Davison, Vice President of Brand, Loyalty and Rewards at America Express said,” The American Express Room For Thought project gives the public the opportunity to work closely with inspirational leaders in their fields who will support them as their idea is brought to life”.
Paul Mac has been part of Smash Mac Mac, Itche-e And Scratch-e, Boo Boo and Mace and The Lab as well as half of The Dissociatives with Silverchair’s Daniel Johns. He has also played live with Silverchair and Severed Heads.
He has also remixed Silverchair, Powderfinger, INXS, Grinspoon, The Cruel Sea and Placebo.
