Oz rock megastars Birds Of Tokyo will do their final 2011 tour in smaller venues.
They’ve had another massive year following their almost-double platinum success of their self-titled album.
Now, to round out the year as a tribute to their true fans, they’ve booked an extensive strings of dates around the nation in the smaller venues that saw them hone their craft.
The tour is understandably titled Birds Of Tokyo: Closer, and gives punters possibly the last chance to see their arena-sized rock in venues this intimate (until their reunion in 2021, anyway).
They also promise to roadtest some new tunes during the shows.
Tickets go on sale Friday 15 July and there will be no shows added, so get in quick.
