Vanessa Amorosi will follow-up her 2009 album ‘Hazardous’ with ‘V’ in November.
For V Vanessa has recruited top shelf producers from the USA including Linda Perry (Pink), Chris Lorde Alge (Paramore) and Jimmy Harry (Kelly Clarkson).
The first single from the record is ‘Gossip’ which will start doing the rounds next week.
The video for ‘Gossip’ was filmed at Melbourne’s historic Labassa Mansion by Stuart Gosling (Nelly Furtado, Good Charlotte). He worked previous with Vanessa on videos for ‘Perfect’ and ‘Kiss Your Mama’.
“This is my favourite album so far,” said Vanessa in a statement. “It will push boundaries; yet still remain fun, humorous and bright. I had the best time writing it.”
Just recently Vanessa heard the news that her 2008 song ‘Perfect’ has been played by radio in Australia continuously for 112 weeks making it the longest ever airplay run for an Australian artist.
